An emergency planning resource for the community created by our community

The Korumburra Community Resilience & Emergency Planning Information document was created through a collaboration between the Korumburra Staying Strong group, Milpara Community House, Korumburra Community Hub, KCDA, Korumburra Round Table and South Gippsland Shire Council.  This document can be used by the Korumburra community to help develop a personal or family emergency plan. The Korumburra Staying Strong Group conducted a community event in March 2025 with emergency services where the community were invited to review and contribute to this plan. Photographs of this well attended event accompany this page.

The South Gippsland Municipal Emergency Management Planning Committee (Victoria Police, CFA, SES, etc.) have committed to keeping the document up to date.  Local engagement and document review will be led by South Gippsland Shire Council with support from Milpara Community House and local emergency services agencies. Feedback on the document can be provided to em@southgippsland.vic.gov.au.

Stay safe everyone!
