Art Connect South Gippsland
Open Studios, Oct 3-18 A self-guided trail of inspiration awaits visitors to South Gippsland in Art Connect's Open Studios. A not-for-profit organisation, Art Connect promotes the Arts across the South Gippsland Shire, from Loch to Toora and surrounds. Held each weekend from Oct 3-18, Open Studios offers insight into the creative practices of more than 30 artists and makers. This year's talent includes: photo artist Keith Haggett at Warren Studios in Korumburra; timber artist Andrew Noble at Leongatha; Meeniyan Art Gallery, with more than 60 artists working across textiles, jewellery, metal and woodwork, ceramics, painting and photography; visual artist Helen S. Tiernan, at Fish Creek;
Thirsty Works Gallery, showcasing woodwork, painting, prints, ceramics and weaving by artists in the Tarwin and Walkerville area, and many more.
