Lions Club of Korumburra

Lions club members are local people who strive to make a difference in their local community as well as in communities worldwide. Being part of Lions International, the largest volunteer service organisation in the world, our efforts include the support of vision care, addressing unmet health and education needs, the provision of hearing dogs, research into various cancers, diabetes support, disaster relief, mobility aids and more.

Here in Korumburra, Lions Club members are looking to the local community, including schools, business owners, environmental groups, healthcare providers and other service clubs, to guide us in developing projects of value to our community. We work alone and in collaboration with other groups to bring about improvements for individuals and the wider community.

Our current members have decided to focus on three things: Encouraging our local young people, including students at Korumburra’s three schools; Supporting those in need and Providing infrastructure to benefit our local community.

We are keen to include ideas and skills from locals in our programs, and so we welcome you to come and talk with us. Our members say that they get as much out of the Club as they put in!
